The Group

One HoldCo. Three OpCos.
A fund. A foundation. A network.

The Group of UCan is the corporate architecture behind the Standard — separating IP from operations, operations from finance, and finance from the public-good layer. So every hub can plug in and every partner knows exactly where they sit.

HoldCo

The UCan Company

Standard-setter, IP owner, master licensor.

Owns the SMRT.BIO platform, the 10 Ladders, the 4M model and every playbook. Licenses the Standard into every hub and every OpCo.

OpCo · Grow

UCan Grow

Production, pack-sheds & outgrower networks.

Runs the physical AgriHub infrastructure — Shack, Shed and House pack-houses, outgrower farms, and the 4Rs enterprise-partner pipeline into off-take corridors.

OpCo · Trade

UCan Trade

Off-take corridors, logistics, certification.

Manages the off-taker network, PIF / CoC compliance, cold-chain and market-access into retailers, processors and export corridors across SADC.

OpCo · Fund

UCan Fund

Micro-finance, SIB and blended-finance vehicle.

Structures the 60/40 micro-finance, the SASSA SIB (R4.2bn target) and blended capital pools that flow through hubs into households.

Foundation

UCan Foundation

Learning, community & Ubuntu Neighbourhoods.

Owns UCan Learn, Ubuntu Neighbourhoods and the Poverty Stoplight programmes — the non-tradable public-good layer of the network.

Network

The 200 AgriHubs

Independently owned, centrally standardised.

Every hub is locally owned and operated under the UCan Standard, plugged into the platform and covenanted to the 60/40 rule.

Where do you fit?

Off-takers plug into Trade. Hub operators plug into Grow. Impact investors plug into Fund. Governments plug into the Foundation. Read the Manifesto for the covenant that binds it all together.
